Hey guys, check out this mobile clamp rack i built this week. it only took 5-2x4's, less than a half sheet of plywood, and 4 casters. it will hold a lot of clamps.. haha obviously the number. Mobile clamp rack hold it! roll it! hang it! store it! by roger meinen. tired of dragging clamps around my shop, i built this rack that brings them right to the job. it takes up only 21 x 32 in. of real estate and can handle 36 adjustable clamps and 12 4-ft. pipe clamps.. A mobile, sheet goods storage rack welded together from 1-1/2 square tubing. once there were some sheet goods weighing it down i saw an opportunity to add clamp storage by tacking on some 1/2” tubing to the side. now it holds saw blades, alignment tools, and all kinds of other stuff since it’s basically a french cleat system..
